Dr. Sanah Tazeen is currently working as a consultant Oral Oncosurgeon at a private hospital in Bangalore, India. Since 2021, she has worked as a Senior clinical fellow in Oral oncosurgery at Health Care Global Private Ltd Hospital, Bangalore, India, and has dedicated her time to provide quality treatment to Cancer patients. She holds an Undergraduate degree from M S Ramaiah Dental College and Hospital affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and pursued her post-graduation degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Faculty of Dental Sciences- Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. She has also worked as a Senior Resident in the Department of Surgical Oncology at M S Ramaiah Medical College and Hospital. She is certified in Basic Life Support. Her interest in Oncology peaked during her post-graduation and ever since she has been inspired to pursue oncology. She has been focused on her goal and has worked at various reputed Cancer centers like Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology and Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center. She is also a fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She has actively participated in many community-oriented rural outreach programs aimed at providing better health care to rural populations. She thrives to provide a better quality of life to patients who have undergone surgery and adjuvant treatment for cancer and has served as Chair- Rehabilitation Head and Neck Oncology with eight different teams (including clinical nutrition, physiotherapy, psycho-oncology, speech-language pathology, etc). She has also received training in Robotic Surgery and has been certified by Intuitive Surgical in the pre-clinical robotic module of the Da Vinci Console. In addition to Cancer management, she is well-versed in the management of maxillofacial trauma, cysts, and tumors, TMJ disorders, Orthognathic and cosmetic Surgeries. She has attended over 60 workshops and conferences and has been a part of the organizing committee for various cadaveric hands-on, robotic, and laser workshops. She has attended live surgeries and hands-on workshops in microvascular surgery conducted by ETHICON. She has been the lead investigator in over 6 cancer projects and has published them in reputed international indexed journals. She also serves as a reviewer for multiple reputed peer-reviewed journals like Head and Neck (Elsevier), Asia Pacific Journal of Oncology Nursing (Elsevier), Current Cancer Drug Targets (Elsevier), etc.
