Dr. Sujay Paul has 15+ years of research experience in different areas of Genomics and Transcriptomics. He completed his doctoral studies in India (2010) and pursued five years of postdoctoral research (2011-2016) in different national and international institutes/universities, such as Bose Institute (India), UNAM (Mexico), and UNALM (Peru), in collaboration with the University of Minnesota, and the University of Michigan, USA. During his postdoctoral studies, he worked mostly on genome and non-coding RNA biology. In 2018 Dr. Paul joined the Department of Bioengineering, Tecnologico de Monterrey (QS world university rank #170), Campus Queretaro, as a research professor (Full time). From June-August 2022, Dr. Paul served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Padova, Italy.</p> <p>Dr. Paul is currently working on non-coding RNA biology of plants and animals and has published more than 80 scientific articles/book chapters in different reputed international peer-reviewed journals with more than 1,300 citations (Google-based H index: 21). He is also currently serving as an associate editor for the journal 3 Biotech (Springer). He is a member of the prestigious National Researchers Council, Mexico, as Level 1 (SNI-I) and currently mentoring 3 Masters and 2 Ph.D. students.
