Dr Teresa Matoso Manguagua Victor, is an Angolan and British scientist and Engineer; PhD in Chemical Engineering, graduated from the University of Newcastle upon-Tyne, in Newcastle upon-Tyne, UNITED KINGDOM, where she also completed her master’s degree in Sustainable Chemical Engineering (2004). Currently, she is an associate professor and Researcher at the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Technologies and Sciences (ISPTEC), Luanda – Angola,
During her studies, she invented a microporous inert material, with a highly structured hierarchy of pores, an elastomer with high permeability, and the ability to adsorb nanoparticles and absorb fluids. She also obtained her PhD in Chemical Engineering, with a multidisciplinary project encompassing the areas of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology and she defended her thesis 2008. Her research areas includes: (Chemical Engineering, Process Intensification, Chemistry; Polymerization and Catalysis, Materials Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Renewable Energies). She is an extremely disciplined and committed professional, possessing excellent scientific and technical skills, with good communication, teamwork and observation skills; while consistently applying a methodical approach to problem solving. She can be recognized, as a highly motivated and reliable individual with a full and multifaceted academic performance.
