She completed her Bachelor of Engineering in the field of Civil Engineering in the year 2016 and her Master of Technology (by research) in the field of Environmental Engineering in 2018. Her doctoral degree is in the field of Environmental Engineering in 2023.
She worked in multiple research fields, including wastewater treatment, drinking water treatment, solid waste management, single-use plastics, and micro/nanoplastics. She also worked as a research associate, teaching cum research associate, and as a research fellow. She was awarded a Prestigious Senior Research Fellowship by CSIR, Government of India. She also presented more than 30 papers at various national and international conferences. She also published multiple research articles in peer-reviewed journals. Her citations crossed more than 110 with a cumulative impact factor of 50. Her current area of interest is towards micro and nanoplastics, their fate, impact, and degradation behavior in various environmental conditions. Also, her interest focuses on the fabrication of new unique bioplastics a remedial measure for single-use plastics
