Dr Sangeeta Trott is a Professor and Head of the Department – Research at ITM Business
School, Navi Mumbai. She is a gold medalist in marketing management from
IGNOU(Indira Gandhi National Open University) ,D.Phil from University of Prayag raj and
post doctorate from Indian council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. Dr
Sangeeta Trott has worked on number of funded research projects viz; the post-doctoral
project on ‘green brand equity’ from Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi .
She is also the recipient of Reserve Bank of India Scholarship Scheme for Faculty Members,
2016 on the topic ‘Green Brand Equity’. Dr Sangeeta Trott has also worked on a funded
project on ‘online gaming addiction’ under Academy of Marketing Science (USA).As a part
of findings a review paper has been published in “Addictive Behaviours’. Currently, she is
working on a project with Ministry of corporate affairs, New Delhi on the topic ‘Green CSR’.
Dr Sangeeta Trott has number of publications to her credit in top tier journals like
International Marketing review, Addictive Behaviours, International Journal of Consumer
Studies, Journal of International Marketing and many more. Her main research interest areas
include, sustainability, artificial intelligence, healthcare , consumer behaviour and branding
.She has also authored a book “Brand Equity-An Indian Perspective’ published by Pearson
Hall of India.
Dr Sangeeta Trott has also presented papers and chaired technical sessions in number of
conferences in India and overseas viz, Academy of marketing science(USA), Angers
University (France), Singapore Management University (Singapore), Curtin University
(Singapore ) , IIM (Ahmedabad), IIM (Bangalore), IIM (Kolkata) and many more. She has
also been invited as a resource person in various research related webinars, seminars and
conferences .
