Research Excellence 2024 under Asia's Best Article of the year Award in "Blood Stream
Infections". I am Working as an Associate professor in Department of Microbiology,
University College of Medical Sciences and associated Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Dilshad
Garden, Delhi -110095. I am working in Blood culture and Anaerobic culture Bacteriology
laboratory along with its antimicrobial stewardship programme. I am Nodal officer of
external quality assurance programme of Microbiology. Organising and Attending meetings
of Clinical Microbiology Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive care units rounds in terms of
blood stream infection antimicrobial stewardship guidelines. I am educated MBBS, MD
(Microbiology), DNB (Microbiology), MNAMS.I have teaching experience in around more
than 10 years and as a faculty 5 years in Microbiology. Writing scientific papers almost 45 in
numbers (H index-5, I 10 index-2) and 3 book chapters national and International. I have
actively involved in MD course thesis work as a co supervisor, involved in journal
presentation & postgraduate student seminars. I have organised almost 10 conferences and
workshop in last 5 years as a resource person. I have attended more than 100 in numbers
workshop and conferences. I have delivered various guest lectures in multiple Institutions. I
