Dr. vaibhav Mishra has won the title of INTERNATIONAL BEST RESEARCHER AWARD for the excellence in, “The effect of full-spectrum cannabis leaf extract on pain, inflammation, and quality of sleep: Case series” at the International Science, Technology & Research Awards (ISTRA 2024). I am a practicing surgeon currently employed at a multi-specialty hospital, where I also serve as an assistant professor in the Shalya Tantra Department at Bhopal. My academic journey began at RGUHS in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where I was honored with the title of Mr. College upon completing my undergraduate studies.
I pursued further education with a diploma in critical care from the CARE Institute, where I graduated at the top of my class, demonstrating my commitment to excellence. I then earned a PhD in Psychoneurobics & Memory Science from a reputable institution in Florida, USA, and was awarded a gold medal for achieving first place in my master’s degree in general surgery in 2024.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a certified Neurolinguistic Programmer and advocate for integrated holistic medicine. I authored “Sushupti Vidnyana,” a publication exploring the intersections of anesthesia and Ayurveda. My research contributions are significant, with 32 articles published in esteemed international, peer-reviewed, and Web of Science indexed journals.
A highlight of my work is the development of an intranasal spray formulation using Vijaya (Cannabis) for peri-operative sedation, marking an innovative step in Ayurvedic anesthesia practices.
My scholarly contributions have been recognized through several accolades, including the Best Scientific Paper Award at the International Conference “Sthaviropkrama” in 2021, awarded by GBAU, and the Second Best Paper Presenter recognition at the National Conference “SHALYA KAUSHALYAM” in 2023, conferred by NIMA. I was also honored with the International Outstanding Researcher Award by the ISSN International Research Awards Congress.
I am actively engaged in Ayurvedic medicine and serve on the Ayurvedic Advisory Board Committee at Cannazo India. My efforts in the academic community have been recognized by BP International Publisher in London, UK, for my exemplary peer reviews.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I hold the position of state secretary within the Chhattisgarh RBMS medical cell. My interests lie in providing interdisciplinary care, and I am committed to values of perseverance, diligence, and unwavering dedication in all aspects of my professional and personal life.
