I am Dr. S. Meenakshi, presently working at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Chennai. Research and Exploration have become a part of my life. I have completed my Ph.D at University of Madras. I have won various awards and recognitions. To mention the best, I won the Best Thesis award from University of Madras in the year of October 2018. I have published 25 papers in peer-reviewed International Journals, presented 11 papers in International Conference and 17 papers in National Conference. My research area includes silver nanoparticles and its applications in cell imaging, carbon nanotubes for the electrochemical detection, quantum dots, graphene oxide, synthesis of modified nanotubes, graphene nanoflakes based sensors, electrochemical sensors, drug formulations and many more. I have hands-on expertise in the fabrication, and surface modifications of electrodes to be used in sensors (detection of environmental pollutants/ heavy metal ions/ biologically important molecules and drugs,). I am adept in testing fabricated electrodes using electrochemical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, impedance analysis, chronoamperometric, amperometric, linear sweep, and difference pulse voltammetry. I am well-trained and experienced in operating scientific instrumentations.

My research interests and the fields of investigation are diverse. I am continuously involved in all the possible ways to keep myself equipped more and I feel proud to remain the same forever in my career throughout.
