Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eren Yılmaz is currently working as an academician at Sakarya University of
Applied Sciences, Faculty of Technology. He also worked at Sakarya University and Gedik
University during his 12-year academic career. He completed his undergraduate, graduate
and doctoral educations at Sakarya University, Department of Metallurgical and Materials
Engineering. He also has an international Welding Engineering diploma and non-destructive
testing level-3 expertise. He worked on heat treatment and fatigue strength of steels in
industry for 3 years. His academic field of work is on biomaterials, powder metallurgy and
welding technology. He has 20 publications, 22 conference presentations, 1 book chapter
authorship and 414 citations in his field.
