Dr.B.Adhavan, Received B.E.,(Electrical and Electronics Engg.) degree from Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore,India, Affiliated to Bharathiyar University in the year 2001,received M.E., (Power Electronics and Drives) degree from P.S.G College of technology, Coimbatore,India, Affiliated to Bharathiyar University in the year 2003,and received Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Anna university,Chennai,India in the year 2014.<br /> • He has 20 years of Academic and research experience, currently working as Associate Professor in EEE department of PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu ,India. He also has 4 years of Abroad Academic Experience at Addiss Ababa Science and Technology University and Adama Science and Technology University at Ethiopia.<br /> • His area of interested include Power Electronics and Drives, Electric Vehicles, Embedded Controls, Automation in Energy Management, Special Electrical Machines and Controls.<br /> • He is a Recognized Supervisor for guiding Ph.D and M.S (By Research) scholars of Anna University Chennai. He has received total funding from AICTE worth 16 lakhs for various projects like Research promotion scheme (RPS)-on “High Performance Brushless DC Drive for Electric Vehicles” and MODROBS-“Modernization of Power Electronics and Drives Lab”.<br /> • He also serves as reviewer for National and International journals like 1.
