I am Dr Anju Khairwa, and The Faculty has won the title of International
Congress for Research Excellence 2024 under the Asia Award;
‘INTERNATION INNOVATIVE RESEARCHER AWARD’ for a study of
“Morphology Markers of Chromosomal Instability in Bone marrow
aspiration and Trephine biopsy”. I am working as an Assistant professor
in the Department of Pathology of University College of Medical
Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi-110095, India. I
worked as a doctor reporting on haematology, histopathology,
cytopathology and Clinical pathology. As a teacher, I teach
undergraduate students, postgraduate students, senior residents, and
technical staff, and as a Researcher and co-supervisor for the thesis of
PG students. I did an MBBS from SPMC Bikaner, Rajasthan, MD
pathology from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and mostly senior
residency from PGIMER, Chandigarh. I did PDCC (post-doctoral
certificate course) in Renal and Transplant Pathology from IKDRC-ITS,
Ahmedabad. I am also Certified in Quality Management Systems and
Internal Audit in the medical laboratory as per ISO 15189:2012, Certified
Basic Course in Biomedical Research, an Online certificate course of
iPRO_2023 for Renal Pathology, and a NICPR ECHO Online Certificate
Course on Cervical Cancer Screening.

I worked as a Specialist and HOD in ESIC Gurugram and ESIC Okhla
and served for four years with administrative experience. I also worked
as a Specialist in Cantonment General Hospital, Delhi Cantt. I worked as
a faculty in SGT University, Gurugram. I have 12 years of teaching
experience and 17 years of experience as a Pathologist.
I have 45 publications published and accepted in various indexed and
nonindexed international and national journals. I presented Three award
papers and got 3 rd prize for oral and poster presentations. I presented
many oral papers and posters at different conferences. Took a talk in
CME. I also received awards in Hindi Debits two times. I participated in
writing extramural and intramural research proposals. I wrote five
extramural and one intramural proposal, which were cleared by
institutional RPAC and are being processed.
I have the numbers of my H index-8 and i10 index-5. I have attended
over 50 conferences and workshops in the last five years and have
organized CME on ‘Acute leukaemia in children” and Renal Biopsy:
Essential for Residents in our college. I participated in the Blood Bank
campus and donated blood voluntarily.

reporting renal biopsy and histopathology, USG and CT guided FNAC,
Apheresis (SDP&PBSC), Bone marrow aspiration &biopsy, and autopsy.
