“Dr.Mohammed Shanil.P” has won the title of ISTRA 2024 under
“INTERNATIONAL OUTSTANDING RESEARCHERS AWARD 2024”
A dedicated budding cardiologist is eager to contribute to team
success through hard work, attention to detail, and excellent
organizational skills aimed at improving the quality of life of life-
threatening patients along with survival. A clear understanding of proper
diagnosis with treatment and accurate management. Motivated to learn,
grow, and excel in the industry at a faster pace.
Lower primary schooling done in Al Ihsan English school
followed by upper primary in Farook English medium school where
received awards for on stage and off stage competitions. High schooling in
Sacred English medium school paved a turning point of getting ambitious
about the future and receiving medals in sports activities as well. Higher
secondary education completed from Ansar English School at Thrissur,
Kerala, India.
I completed MBBS from Government Medical College,
Thrissur, Kerala, India in 2018 and finished Post graduation in Internal
medicine from AIMSR, Kollam, Kerala, India in 2023.During my post-
graduation, Well-versed in managing Medicine OPDs, Experienced in
attending Multidisciplinary board meetings, in managing COVID-19 ward
and Intensive care unit. Provided medical care and treatment in the
Trauma Unit for patients presenting with life-threatening conditions,
regularly performing procedures. Currently working as DM cardiology
resident in Government medical college in Kannur, Kerala, India since
November 2023.
I have attended a pack of conferences and presented e-posters
as well.One of the E-posters presented in Internal Medicine Update 2022
on ‘Post COVID pneumorrhachis’ secured first prize. Other conference
presentations include A dancing brain in SLE,Waldenstroms
macroglobulinemia and Atypical cushings syndrome.Also awarded Quiz
Part 2 winner in the South India intercollegiate quiz 2022.

International Journal of Scientific Research.
Due to excellence in international publications of research
articles, received INTERNATIONAL YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD
2024 and YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD 2024. Professional bodies
like Association of physicians of India,Indian Medical Association and
Institute of Researchers given the life time membership based on
qualification and achievements.
Currently working as the primary investigator in a cross-
sectional study of ‘Subclinical left ventricular dysfunction using 2 D
Speckle tracking ECHO in first-degree relatives of HCM patients in a
tertiary care center’ and ‘A study on the evaluation of nutritional status in
chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients at a tertiary care center’.
