GT : 2-year full time trainee in Civil, Mech., Elec., & Metallurgy of integrated steel plant technologies. 4- month fulltime Diploma in Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur
(Hon’s. Dip. in Information Systems Mgt. APTECH., soft wares STAADPRO & CAD).

Had conducted Post Doctoral Research and Value Engineering Projects as Member of 2nd level R&D Committee at TATA STEEL for 2-years and developed Cement ,Concrete and wear resistant floor tiles from Industrial Wastes in cold process. Published 10 Research Papers on Composite Construction and New Bldg. Materials in International Conferences and Journals in India, Japan, France, Lithuania and Slovakia. Had been Leader of 5 Value Engineering Projects in Structures and Convener of 65 VE Projects in other Engineering disciplines at TATA STEEL during 3-years of Modernization. Guided one Ph.D. in Efficiency of Metal buildings from JNTU, Hyderabad. Guided three M.Tech.s in development of cement and bricks from mines waste from Ranchi University and Minor bridges from JNTU, Hyderabad.
Presently guiding two Ph.D. students in Solar Structures and construction composites from NIT, Warangal (application stage) and “Yogi Vemana University”, Karnool India. Worked as Principal and Professor in JNTU college – Conc. Tech., Des. Of Steel Strs., Geo-Tech and Advanced Fdn. Engg. For the last 14 years.

As Contributions to research, about 50 research articles were published, in National & International journals. Attended about 50 conferences in India & abroad.

Following, are the specific areas of experience: Knowledge process outsourcing, business establishment and management as vice-president of mold-tech technologies, established the KPO business vertical by bringing business from 3 reputed PEB companies of America, a) American building systems, Alabama b) Gulf states manufacturing, Mississippi c) Kirby US, Nash Ville. Got trained on MBS (metal building software) of above companies, and successfully delivered 12 live projects, including cad check, during above training, without any site visits. Employed and trained 10 design engineers and 40 cad professionals for 6 months on customized MBS of above 3 companies. Successfully delivered about 200 PEB building projects, outsourced by above companies as head of above design & detailing team, in 2 y’rs.

As director of Q Engineering Prospects, established engineering services business with about 25 design engineers, and 75 CAD professionals and brought business in the areas of industrial structures, water resource & irrigation structures, air-port structures, power plant structures and solar structures trained all the above staff for one year in different disciplines as per project requirements, and did about 300 projects of different industrial structures, for 20 years, including 60 major/ medium irrigation projects. Hired survey and layout field professionals and did about one lakh acres of field survey & layout of irrigation lands up to field channel supply. Also did survey, marking layout and design of about 1000 kms of main and distribution canals including cross masonry and cross drainage works.

As Manager Designs TATA STEEL Jamshedpur, I/C Value Engg., & Member 2nd level R&D committee of Tata Steel got trained for 2&1/2 years full time certified PG course in Integrated steel plant technologies, Management practices and Engineering of projects. Did about 200 integrated steel plant structures design and detailing, and guided a team of 5 juniors for delivery of above projects, for 15 years. Did about 70 value engineering projects as i/c of value engg., during modernization & growth of Tata steel from 2 to 3 million TPA capacity. Did 5 post doctoral research projects in development of new construction materials from industrial wastes, and got one patent for new ceramic tile.

As Asst. General Manager, PEBS Pennar, Hyderabad, as head of designs, did about 200 PEB and other projects leading a design & detailing team of 25 professionals. Developed new heavy duty metal crash barrier for mines vehicle crash, & published new design manual.

AS DIRECTOR TECHNICAL, ATLAS FINANCIAL RESEARCH, did about 50 duediligence projects including national & state highways, on smart city, integrated steel plants, distillery plants, resorts etc., for 10 years.
