Dr. Harish Kumar is Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon at present working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at Uttar Pradesh University Of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah (U.P) India.

His qualifications are MBBS , M.S (Orthopaedics) , Fellowship in arthroscopy and Arthroplasty , Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Pain management. He did his graduation and post graduation from Sarojani Naidu Medical College, Agra, India which is among one of the renowned medical institutes of India. During the time of his graduation and post graduation he was always a distinguished tutee with Honor’s in several subjects in graduation. He honed his skills under the famed Orthopaedician’s of Vardhman Mahaveer Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital New Delhi as a Senior Resident which is among the pioneer institutes of India. Further he acclaimed advanced knowledge and skills in Medanta, The Medicity Hospital, Gurugram as a Senior registrar. He did his fellowship in Sports and Arthroscopy from Arcus Sport Klinik, Pforzheim, Germany under famed surgeon Dr. Ellerman.
With more than 15 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedics, he is one of the best Orthopaedian in Uttar Pradesh University Of Medical Sciences ,Saifai with specialties in Arthroscopy , Joint Reconstrution and Trauma Surgeries. He is expert surgeon catering to varied varieties of trauma and other cases of orthopaedics requiring keen, meticulous and holistic approach.
ACHIEVMENTS: He was Awarded as Associate Member – 2022 by Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is awarded many lifetime membership’s around India. At present he is prestigious lifetime member of many associations like Indian Orthopedic Association (IOA), International Society for Knowledge for Surgeons on Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty (ISKAA), Associations of Surgeon’s of Member of Ilizarov’s (ASAMI), Uttar Pradesh Orthopedics Association (UPOA) and Delhi Orthopaedics Association (DOA). He always had profound interest in Research, he has been Assistant editor of Journal of Bone and Joint Diseases (JBJD), official Journal of Uttar Pradesh Orthopedic Association. At present he is giving services to this journal as a Section Editor of Knee Section. He has been providing services as a reviewer of Research Journals. At present year in 2013 he collaborated as a reviewer for Journal SPORT TK-Revista EuroAmericana de Ciencias del Deporte. He is a teacher of Medical Graduates and Post Graduate students. He is also Thesis Guide , Examiner and Mentor for Medical Post Graduates in Orthopaedics. He has been Penalist, Faculty in various Orthopaedic conferences and seminars. He has attended more than 100 various regional, national and international conferences, workshop and symposium. He has been involved in various research work in his field and has published more than 20 research papers and projects.
He has done various training courses and has organized many CMEs and courses in his department of Orthopaedics and his Institution. He has presented various research work in many national and international conferences.
Dr Harish Kumar is a young and dynamic Orthopaedic Surgeon and Researcher in his field. Hardwork and dedication in a profession is his priority for the betterment of patients and society. His vision is to make available the advanced techniques, skill and research in field of orthopaedics to be accessible to the rural and low socioeconomic classes of this region.
