Educational qualification: He has graduated in 2001, Post graduated in 2004 and completed his PhD in 2011 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. He has secured 1st rank in Post graduate level in his College.

Research Field: He is specialized in the area of cultivation and Standardization of Medicinal plants, estimation of phytoconstituents through various instrumental methods, Tissue culture of endangered plants, nano formulation of herbals, Pharmacological activities of plant extracts, Formulation and clinical investigation of plant products. He has research collaboration with many countries, went to Romania, Austria, Netherland, Belgium, Saudi Arabia and Thailand for collaborative research and received travelling expenses from DST, India for his oral presentation in Romania and Philadelphia, USA. He has presented more than 35 research papers in various national and international seminars, conferences and symposia and organized many workshops and conferences. He has delivered more than 30 lectures as invited speaker, guest lecture and as resource person in various scientific sessions in many national and international conferences. He also chaired more than 10 national and International oral scientific sessions in various prestigious conferences. He has 118 scientific publications in various peer reviewed national and international journals of repute with total Impact factor: 48.37. He has published 7 patents, 1 copy right, and 4 design patent grants. He has contributed 9 book chapters and 14 text books in his expertise area.
