From a young age, he displayed exceptional aptitude in mathematics and science, paving the way for his academic excellence. He won 14 Nos of Gold Medals (6 from Science Olympiad Foundation, 1 from National Science Society and 7 others from various Talent Search Examinations) and numerous certificates and other prizes till his Higher Secondary curriculum. He passed the Secondary Examination from Baranagar Ramkrishna Mission Ashrama High School; followed by Higher Secondary Examination from Sinthi Ramkrishna Sangha Vidyamandir. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Construction Engineering at the prestigious Jadavpur University (JU), Kolkata. During his time at JU, his interest in Structural Health Monitoring deepened. He became the Topper in GATE 2018 amongst the Students of his department in JU. Following his undergraduate studies, he pursued a Master’s degree in Structural Repair and Retrofit Engineering at Jadavpur University. At Jadavpur, he worked closely with esteemed professors and industry professionals who helped to shape his expertise in the field. During this time, he conducted research on vulnerability of RCC buildings and OHRs subjected to Tilt and differential settlement. He stood First Class First in Master’s degree, and being the Departmental Topper, he got the prestigious University Medal of Jadavpur University. During his Post Graduate studies, he had appeared twice in the National Engineering Olympiad Examination, organised by ASSOCHAM; and Stood Second (All India Rank: 2) both the times. Simultaneously, he was selected as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Construction Engineering, Jadavpur University; under State Research Fellowship Scheme in 2019. After working as Junior Research Fellow for 3 years, he was promoted to Senior Research Fellow in JU. After completing his Master’s degree, he has delved further into his research interests by enrolling in a Ph.D. program in Engineering at the Jadavpur University. Under the guidance of his advisor, renowned researcher Prof. Dr. Debasish Bandyopadhyay, he has presently focused his doctoral research on Structural Health Monitoring of Bridge from Ambient Vibration Involving Inverse Dynamic Approach. His research findings have been published in well recognised international journals and presented at prestigious conferences, solidifying himself as a researcher in the field of Structural Health Monitoring. Till May, 2023; he has published 16 No. of Research Papers. He has served as reviewer for a few journals also. His contributions to the field of SHM did not go unnoticed. In 2022, he was honoured with the title of ISSN Awards under the “International Best Researcher Award” category for his specialization in Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). In 2023, again he is getting honoured with the title of ASTRA Awards under the “Asia’s Outstanding Researcher Award” category for his specialization in SHM. These award recognize his exceptional research, innovative contributions, and significant impact on the field. These serve as a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and relentless pursuit of knowledge. He continues to push the boundaries of knowledge in Structural Engineering through his research endeavours; and inspire the aspiring undergraduate students and post graduate researchers, encouraging them to pursue their passions and make a positive impact on society. Beyond his academic achievements, he has also been actively involved in scientific & professional societies and organizations. He has Life Memberships in Indian Concrete Institute, Indian Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Institution of Engineers (India), Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Association for Structural Engineering and Indian Association for Computational Mechanics.
