Dr. A.M.Priyangani Adikari has won the International Best Researcher of the Year Award in
Economics 2024 at the International Science, Technology and Research Awards (ISTRA).
Dr.Adikari is working as a Senior Lecturer in Economics in the Department of Economics,
Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, where she has
worked for almost 15 years. Her groundbreaking research earned her the Best Research Award
for Economics, solidifying her as a leading figure in her field.
Her academic interests include International Economics and Financial Economics. She is
passionate about teaching undergraduate students in English, and Sinhala medium. She earned
her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, and she

Philosophy in Economics in 2015 from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. Dr. Adikari

1. My name is Shizuyo Sutou from Shujitsu University, Okayama, Japan.
My presentaion is entitled, "The linear no-threshold model (L-N-T) is invalid: Low-
dose, essential; mid-dose, beneficial; and high-dose, hazardous."
2. My research into hormesis started at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant
accident on March 11, 2011. Residents within a 20 km radius of the power plant
were forced to evacuate.
3. From May to August, a tentative home-return program was conducted. I engaged
in monitoring returnees for radio-contamination.
4. Returnees were taken home by bus and after staying for two hours, they returned
to the off-site center.
5. Among more than 33 thousand returnees, no one was contaminated. Radiation
itself did not kill anyone at the Fukushima accident, but enforced evacuation killed
more than 2,000 people. LNT is a killer. Why the evacuation was conducted?
Because, LNT asserts that the smallest amount of radiation is hazardous. If it were
not for LNT, no need to evacuate, no need to decontaminate soils, and no need to
stockpile tritiated water.
6. Now, all foods contain K-40 and other radionucleids. So, all foods are radioactive.
Also, all living organisms are radioactive.
7. We are exposed to radiation internally and externally. The mount is about 20,000
radiation hits per second.
8. At Fukushima, I was exposed to radiation of 6,000 counts per mminute at
maximum. I was scared that my cancer risk might be elevated. So, I studied hardly
the biological effects of radiation. I was relieved to learn the 6,000 counts per
mminute is 100 counts per second and 100 hits are negligible as compared with
20,000 hits per second. It means that my cancer risk was not elevated.
9. In hormesis, lower-doses are beneficial, but higher-doses are hazardous. Dose-
response curves of hormesis show a J-shaped curve. Many data show J-shaped
curves, the hallmark of hormesis.
10. LNT and hormesis dose-responses are compared. LNT and hormesis are
incompatible with each other. Most data support hormesis, meaning that LNT is
invalid.
11. The lifespan of Hiroshima and Nagasaki A-bomb survivors shows hormetic J-
shaped curve. The lifespan of the survivors is longer than that of the Japanese by
about one year.

After finishing high school, Clay worked for the US Airforce for six years where he worked on ground electronics and targeting for the minuteman II and III intercontinental missiles. Fulvio Balmelli, born in Faido in Ticino (Switzerland) on 15/07/1964. In 1984, after graduating in Bellinzona as a Mechanical Designer, together with a specialized engineer in the sector, he opened a company for the design of industrial plants in the chemical and pharmaceutical field. In those years, he also continued his studies independently, obtaining certificates in several private training courses in Homeopathy, Phytotherapy, Massage Therapy and Manipulations of the spine, until 1987, when he decided to deepen his skills in the field of natural therapies and opened in Manno, in Switzerland, his first private Center for Medicine and Natural Therapies. From 1990 to 1998, through the major bioresonance experts of the time, he followed a private training at the Regumed company in Germany, where he deepened his knowledge of human anatomy and specialized in the use of bioresonance obtaining the highest specific certifications and enabling the use of bioresonance equipment in the health field. Thanks to these new skills, he expanded the services offered by his Center for Medicine and Natural Therapies in Manno, increasing the staff at his disposal to 19 employees personally trained by him and bringing the study in a few years, to serve an average of 5000 patients, most of whom came from Italy, through word of mouth. From 1995 to 1998 he collaborated in Ponte Capriasca in Switzerland, as a bioresonance operator, with Dr. Jacques-Philippe Blanc, specialist in Internal Medicine and Homeopath. From 1998 to 2000 he collaborated in Lugano in Switzerland, as a homeopath, with Dr. Rubens Giorgio Mattioli, specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and pathology of the head and neck. In the early 2000s, he also followed, in Como, a training and practical course of Postural Osteopathic Therapy with Prof. Philippe Caiazzo and the Italian Academy of Postural Osteopathic Therapy (AITOP), through which in addition to developing an increasingly greater manual skill and experience obtaining the Diploma of Postural Osteopath of 1st level, he was spurred by his master in
the direction of personal research in this sector, then not yet very developed. From 2001 to 2003 he collaborated in Bergamo in Italy, as a Bioresonance Operator, with Dr. Pedrocchi, doctor specialized in Dentistry. In 2001 he also began to collaborate at the studio in the province of Modena in Italy, with Prof. Pietro Procopio, doctor specialized in Ophthalmology and professor of Iridology at the University of Urbino. Prof. Procopio invites and hosts Balmelli to carry out in-depth bio-physical investigations and treatments on his patients, through bioresonance equipment and the application of his method, as well as his extensive osteopathic skills, and homeopathy. The presence of Balmelli in Italian territory, further facilitates the many patients already then loyal, who begin to hope in the opening by him of a structure in Italy, more easily reachable for them. To this request Balmelli responds in 2003 giving his availability in directing and working at a Multispecialist Medical Center of Integrated Medicine, then opening in the province of Como, therefore on Italian territory, but sufficiently close to the Swiss border, for all patients in Canton Ticino. The Center, now called “Biomedic – Clinic & Research” is currently operational, and over the years has brought the number of patients loyal to the professional figure of Balmelli on Italian and Swiss territory, to over 40,000 (www.biomediccenter.com). In recent years several patients reach this structure to receive integrated medicine treatments with the methods developed by Fulvio Balmelli, from all Italian regions, but also from different nations, mainly the USA and the CE. From 2003 to today he carries out coordination activities of the Medical Specialists of the Medical Center and the team of professionals in the field of bioresonance trained by him and then certified by the Regumed company in Germany. He also carries out further specific training related to bioresonance at Regumed, obtaining further certifications in 2008 and 2009. He also performs at the “Biomedic – Clinic & Research”, also integrated medicine services in the areas of his training, performing in-depth studies with bio-physical investigations in support of the doctors of the Medical Center and the related bio-physical and bioresonance treatments for the treatment of now over 900 between pathologies and symptoms, listed on the official website. In the meantime, he continues to develop his method of evolution of bioresonance which in 2012 takes the name of Citoalgoritmica, or the mathematical and biophysical decoding of the alterations of many biological processes of the organism in clinical/pathological contexts, which represent an entire new body of knowledge in constant expansion.
From 2008 to 2012, he collaborated in the province of Pordenone in Italy, as a bioresonance operator, with Dr. Francesco De Mita, a specialist in Gastroenterology. In 2010, in collaboration with Dr. Elia Roberto Cestari, who assists him in delivering the protocols to the patients, he developed an innovative weight loss system, a medical program consisting of a specific dietary plan, combined with particular biophysical devices that he himself designed, certified as class 1 medical devices and registered with the Ministry of Health, which are applied to the patient’s abdominal skin through special patches. More than 10 years after the start of Balmelli’s research, retrospective studies are carried out on the files of the treated patients, which give efficacy results of these programs of 90.4% for excess weight ranging from 3 to over 50 Kg in excess. In 2019, in light of the excellent results achieved, not only in terms of weight loss, but also from the point of view of health, highlighted by clinical analyzes and objective examinations, achieved by patients at the end of the programs called Kyminasi Diet, the K Project company decides to distribute such programs through the training of doctors on the Italian territory and then later on foreign territory, with a future internationalization project. In the first four years, more than 90 professionals have been enabled for the administration of the Kyminasi Diet programs. The program provides for a path of restoration of the posture of the spine in 5/8 sessions, a restoration of the support of the feet in about 2/3 years on an adult subject no longer growing
and the restoration of malocclusions in a number of sessions necessary depending on the problem. Together they refine the application of this method applied to over 2,000 patients, protocoling and transcribing the method in a training manual that allows from 2025 to train doctors and health workers on the Kyminasi Postural. From 2014 to 2017, he embarked on a collaboration path at the Biomedic in the province of Como, with Dr. Giuseppe Zora, a specialist in Oncology, on the integrated treatment through bioresonance and the now evolved Citoalgoritmica, with supportive therapy for cancer patients. Having interrupted the collaboration with Dr. Zora for family reasons of the latter, Balmelli continues the path in the oncological field alongside Dr. Elisabetta Pontiggia, a renowned Oncologist who, together with her father, started hyperthermia treatments in Italy.
In the summer of 2020, he enrolled at the St. George Training School, in the two-year Massage Therapist (MCB) course recognized throughout Europe and promoted by the Lombardy Region, to acquire all the updated skills as an auxiliary health operator also expert in hydrothermal treatments and specialized in Bioresonance. Dr. Vasudev is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Western University, London, Ontario,
Canada. She is also the Medical Director and Quality Improvement Lead for Adult Out-Patient
Mental Health Service at Victoria Hospital, London Health Sciences Center (LHSC).
Dr. Vasudev is a distinguished academic and clinician with extensive training and experience in
pharmacology and psychiatry. Prior to joining Western University, Dr. Vasudev completed a 6-
year post-graduate structured training in Pharmacology (MD, equivalent to a PhD) in India,
followed by 6 years of residency in Psychiatry in the UK. Over the past 14 years at Western
University, Dr. Vasudev has made significant contributions at both national and international
levels.
Dr. Vasudev joined the Department of Psychiatry at Western University's Schulich School of
Medicine and Dentistry (SSMD) as an Assistant Professor in September 2010 and held a cross-
appointment to the Department of Medicine, Division of Clinical Pharmacology, from 2011 to
2018. As the Research Co-ordinator for the Residents Program Committee (RPC) in Psychiatry
(2012-2015) and the Scholarly Portfolio Lead (2015-2022), Dr. Vasudev played a pivotal role in
enhancing the research training of psychiatry residents, significantly enhancing research
productivity among residents.
A key accomplishment was the revamp of the scholarly curriculum for Western's psychiatry
residency program, making scholarly activity mandatory for all residents since 2011. Dr.
Vasudev's work led to a national survey on research experience in psychiatry residency programs
across Canada, published in the Canadian Journal of Psychiatry in 2014, and presented at
international conferences. The paper advocated for national guidelines for research training,
influencing the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) to release new
specialty training requirements in psychiatry in 2015.
Dr. Vasudev's dual training in pharmacology and psychiatry allowed specialization in
psychopharmacology. Recognizing gaps in psychopharmacology teaching, Dr. Vasudev
developed a standardized curriculum for psychiatry residents, which was implemented across
PGY1-5 and published in the Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology in 2017. As the course
director for the updated psychopharmacology curriculum since 2020, Dr. Vasudev has
streamlined learning objectives to align with the CanMEDS framework.
