1. My name is Shizuyo Sutou from Shujitsu University, Okayama, Japan.
My presentaion is entitled, "The linear no-threshold model (L-N-T) is invalid: Low-
dose, essential; mid-dose, beneficial; and high-dose, hazardous."
2. My research into hormesis started at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant
accident on March 11, 2011. Residents within a 20 km radius of the power plant
were forced to evacuate.
3. From May to August, a tentative home-return program was conducted. I engaged
in monitoring returnees for radio-contamination.
4. Returnees were taken home by bus and after staying for two hours, they returned
to the off-site center.
5. Among more than 33 thousand returnees, no one was contaminated. Radiation
itself did not kill anyone at the Fukushima accident, but enforced evacuation killed
more than 2,000 people. LNT is a killer. Why the evacuation was conducted?
Because, LNT asserts that the smallest amount of radiation is hazardous. If it were
not for LNT, no need to evacuate, no need to decontaminate soils, and no need to
stockpile tritiated water.
6. Now, all foods contain K-40 and other radionucleids. So, all foods are radioactive.
Also, all living organisms are radioactive.
7. We are exposed to radiation internally and externally. The mount is about 20,000
radiation hits per second.
8. At Fukushima, I was exposed to radiation of 6,000 counts per mminute at
maximum. I was scared that my cancer risk might be elevated. So, I studied hardly
the biological effects of radiation. I was relieved to learn the 6,000 counts per
mminute is 100 counts per second and 100 hits are negligible as compared with
20,000 hits per second. It means that my cancer risk was not elevated.
9. In hormesis, lower-doses are beneficial, but higher-doses are hazardous. Dose-
response curves of hormesis show a J-shaped curve. Many data show J-shaped
curves, the hallmark of hormesis.
10. LNT and hormesis dose-responses are compared. LNT and hormesis are
incompatible with each other. Most data support hormesis, meaning that LNT is
invalid.
11. The lifespan of Hiroshima and Nagasaki A-bomb survivors shows hormetic J-
shaped curve. The lifespan of the survivors is longer than that of the Japanese by
about one year.

Clay W Hansen has won the title of ISTRA 2024 under INTERNATIONAL BEST RESEARCHER AWARD. He graduated with an M. Eng. Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville in 1992. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. After finishing high school, Clay worked for the US Airforce for six years where he worked on ground electronics and targeting for the minuteman II and III intercontinental missiles. After graduating from the University of Louisville, Clay worked for several companies including Exxon Chemical, Olin Chemicals, Dow Corning and GE Appliances. Atsushi Hasegawa has won the ICRE 2024 Title, International Best Researcher of the
Year Award for my specialization in Automobile/Safety.
I graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Waseda University in 2004
and obtained a master's degree in Integrative Bioscience and Biomedical Engineering from
Waseda University in 2006. In the same year, I joined Honda R&D Co., Ltd., where I
engaged in research on automotive safety technology. Serving as a collision CAE
(Computer-Aided Engineering) specialist. At Honda, I became assistant chief engineer in
2014 and chief engineer in 2021. I contributed to the development of mass-production
models such as the Civic and Accord. Subsequently, I took on the role of project leader in
the research of vehicle structures to enhance the rear-end and side collision safety
performance.
In the research on rear-end collisions, I constructed a new vehicle rear structure capable
of distributing load evenly to the left and right in the case of offset collisions, enabling high-
energy absorption. Additionally, I established a method to control deformation by defining
the deformation mode of the frame with high energy absorption. The results were
presented in papers such as "Enhancement of Longitudinal Energy Absorption Efficiency in
FMVSS 301" (published in the international conference WCX2020), "Load distribution
structure of rear bumper beam to enhance vehicle body energy absorption in rear-end
collisions" (published in the international conference ESV2023), and "Load Distribution by
Rear Bumper Beam in FMVSS 301R Test Protocol" (published in Honda Technical Review
2020).
In the study of side collisions, I devised a new B-pillar and door beam structure with new
IIHS MDB as a representative case. I successfully created a new load paths at B-pillar and
door beam that could support the lateral load from the barrier as axial loads in the vehicle's
longitudinal, vertical, and lateral directions, leading to a reduction in vehicle body
deformation. These achievements were presented in papers such as "New load transfer
structure to reduce body deformation in side collisions" (published in the international
conference ESV2023) and "B-pillar Load Transfer Mechanism in Side Collision" (published
in Honda Technical Review 2022).
Currently, I am actively involved in the development of analytical techniques utilizing
Bayesian estimation and surrogate modeling to propose design conditions and new
structures with high reliability in a short period. With a vision for the integration of collision
safety technology and digital technology, I have shared the our projects through lectures at
events such as the JSAE's technical symposium in 2021 and Webinar hosted by
PROGRESS TECHNOLOGIES in 2022.

Fulvio Balmelli, born in Faido in Ticino (Switzerland) on 15/07/1964. In 1984, after graduating in Bellinzona as a Mechanical Designer, together with a specialized engineer in the sector, he opened a company for the design of industrial plants in the chemical and pharmaceutical field. In those years, he also continued his studies independently, obtaining certificates in several private training courses in Homeopathy, Phytotherapy, Massage Therapy and Manipulations of the spine, until 1987, when he decided to deepen his skills in the field of natural therapies and opened in Manno, in Switzerland, his first private Center for Medicine and Natural Therapies. From 1990 to 1998, through the major bioresonance experts of the time, he followed a private training at the Regumed company in Germany, where he deepened his knowledge of human anatomy and specialized in the use of bioresonance obtaining the highest specific certifications and enabling the use of bioresonance equipment in the health field. A key accomplishment was the revamp of the scholarly curriculum for Western's psychiatry
